Ryan Wilson

Ryan Wilson founded Mavs Fanatic in January of 2012. He had a vision of starting something new and different. A place where fans of the Dallas Mavericks and fans of writing could come and be heard. A blog "Run By Fans For Fans". He is also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago WhiteSox(His Hometown Team). Ryan wants to build Mavs Fanatic into something great, and with his fresh and different outlook, it's already well on it's way.

I am a proud fan of the Dallas Mavericks and have been one since the late 1990s when I was a kid. My story on becoming a Mavs fan is one I will remember for the rest of my life. I was 6 years old and in first grade and I went to a Mavs game with my family at Reunion Arena. At the end of the 3rd quarter, I was invited onto the floor to play musical chairs with other kids who were the biggest Mavs fans of the night. I won a t-shirt, a Mavs basketball, and a ticket to a Rockets-Mavs game. I knew right then and there that I would be a Mavs fan for the rest of my life. It was incredible! Im 25 years old. I was born in Dallas but lived most of my life on the east coast. I lived 9 years in West Hartford Connecticut and 4 years right outside of New York City when I was in college at Hofstra University where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Minor in Political Science. Although I lived most of my life on the east coast, my native Dallas routes never left me. Especially the native routes of the passion that I have for Dallas sports teams. I have so much passion for Dallas sports teams that I knew from the young age of 12 years old that I wanted to go into sports broadcasting just so I could cover my favorite sports teams. I love broadcasting because it gives me a platform to have a conversation!

I graduated Texas Tech in 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications and currently obsess over basketball full-time. In my free time, I'm a substitute teacher and also an Uber driver. I've been following the Mavs since Jason, Jimmy and Jamal were young up-and-comers. If you need their last names, please don't ask me.

Jocelyn Kapp

After playing volleyball for two years at Richland College, I transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio in hopes of gaining a degree in kinesiology. Randomly in one of my classes I was asked to host a show at UTSA called “In the Film Room”. I then realized how much I loved being on camera and speaking with people. Which has since led me to the University of North Texas where I am currently majoring in broadcasting and minoring in communication. I would love to be a sideline reporter and I do hope I will be able to stay and work in Dallas when I graduate.

Robby Lewis

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Received my Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. NBA fan in a college basketball city. I've been a MFFL since the Nellie Days.

Nick White

Born and raised in south Fort Worth, I graduated from Burleson High School in 2008. I have a natural love for Dallas sports teams, especially the Mavs and basketball in general. After working with my family's business for a few years, then Enterprise for a year, I dropped everything to use my 10-plus years of experience in photography to follow my love and passion in the sports field. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.
